There is no menu & you don't know what anything is costing until you actually get the bill. I guess you have to ask how much a burger is.

Our server was great. The chef did a super job on the food! All the meals were delicious! Our only complaint was the music could be a little softer. Hard to talk over it sometimes.

No paper menu or advertised prices. Was asked by every employee if it was our "first time here". Didn't think much of it at first, but now have an idea why. Steak sandwich & fries- $32. 4 bacon wrapped scallops- $24. 4 bacon wrapped shrimp- $20. I will say this- the food was excellent, not at all what you'd expect when you walk in the place. However for a $100 tab (AFTER $25 gift cert) on a Wednesday night which consisted of 2 appetizers and a steak sandwich & fries and 2 drinks pp, I should have either been in an establishment with a much finer ambiaence or completely smashed. Just my opinion. I'd definitely go back, but be much more aware of prices of food before ordering.

Bartender was great and good drinks, but with no menu, it's difficult to order...ended up ordering appetizer, but for $5 a scallop, although it taste good, just too expensive -- plus we asked for garlic butter wine sauce, but I didn't notice any garlic flavor. If there was a menu with prices, would be better for the diner--just kind of awkward.

Food was good but the price wasnt. I was charged $20 for a fish fry. $6 apiece for bacon wrapped scallops. Last month it was $13 for the same fish fry and $5 for the scallops. The base has never had a priced menu but its not cool to bump the price whenever wanted

everything was excellent, except the price. I love going to the meat counter to select, but a short menu would be nice, too. Also, they ran out of baked potatoes and some of their white wines.

The atmosphere is like going into a neighborhood bar and then you have this wonderful selection of food made to whatever way you want...what a surprise but expensive!!

They do not hand you a menu, period! Not only that, the customer has no idea what he is paying for because there are no prices posted anywhere. I guess you are supposed to hand them a blank check. There were some (about seven things) written on a chalk board which listed things that were more dinner type items than luncheon food that we were there for, also with no prices. When I got the bill (all hand written-no cash register or computer printed bill), I had no idea what I was paying for. The food we ordered (salad and soup, because we couldn't figure out what the heck to order) was OK but we did not get the bread the hostess mentioned was included. Possibly I paid extra for it but would never know from the bill. Without wanting to make a scene, I used my credit card to pay the bill (with 18% tip on original amount) and left. At 11:30 AM, the music was so loud it drowned out any conversation we might have attempted.This place is probably a great young people's sports bar, (many superior sports bars in the area) but not conducive for a restaurant. We had actually had been there many years ago and thought that it had changed. To our disappointment, it had not. Never again. PS. I had my own successful business for 35 years so I know how a business should be run. So, this is not any ordinary complainer. There are hundreds of better restaurants in the Milwaukee area.

The food choices were totally unexpected for a sports bar. The food was gourmet and delicious but EXTREMELY overpriced. We expected to pay about $30 for food at a run down bar, not $143. Thank God we had the coupon.

the people in the party did not like the fact that there was no menu and that they had no idea how much an entre would cost. I think this would be a reason why they may chose not to return. The blind cost was a problem for them.
I thought staff and owner were wonderful and the food was awesome. Had a great night

Each eight ounce steak was $45! two were ordered, and that's $90???? The prices for everything else were reasonable, but the steaks' prices were off the charts (VERY unreasonable). I would suggest seafood if anyone wants to eat there.

I had the perch fish fry and it was excellent! My husband did not like the idea of not having a menu to look at to see the prices. The $18.00 fish fry in a bar type atmosphere did not sit well with him. I guess we should have asked the price but figured it would be the average fish fry amount in the area which is usually not over $15.00. My husband had chili, cheeseburger and fries. He didn't care for the chili or the fries but said the cheeseburger was okay. Because of the price of the fish fry my husband said we will not be going back.

The service, atmosphere, and food was excellent. The fact the the menue did not include prices would make me recommend that friends not go regardless of the excellent things I mentioned previously.
