We arrived at 5:15pm Sat 5/11. We sat right down. We had a friendly waitress. Food came at a reasonable time. Tasted great! We even shared some cheese cake!

Our waitress was not very attentive to our table. I thing they were short on servers that day. I had to ask a different waiter for more beverage for me and two other people in out party.

Waitress was engaging but too busy to stop and answer questions. She ran away after delivering the menus, water, popovers, beverages, etc. Rest of staff was excessive with visits to check on how we were doing and how things tasted, and what else we needed, etc. Fried walleye was overcooked and the exterior was a little greasy. Asparagus and Swedish potatoes were very good.

Attentive, personable server
Would have liked to have known ahead of time though that there were certain items that were not available. Then we had to rethink what we wanted to eat.

The changes they did to the bar has definitely enhanced the dinning experiences in the bar.

Great server(Joe). Walleye almandine was excellent but not quite as hot as I like it. Popovers are outstanding and nice and warm. Our cocktails came in an extremely small (4oz?) glass but Joe quickly told the bartender and we got tall drinks. Great food and great view of the river!

Sam did a great job waitnig on us and Joe and Pat stoped by to say hello. Food was great. Sorry to hear Dangerfields will not serve White Merlot effective today, it is my wifes fav.

Food was good, however the service was very poor. Forgot to put in order for appetizers, brought out a salad instead of the soup that was ordered, out of rare prime rib that was ordered and substitued steak instead that was overcooked. Took almost 2 hours for us to eat.

We have been to Dangerfields many times in the past. The service has always been good except for this particular time. First of all the popovers were obviously burnt but the waitress served them anyway. They were so crisp that we just decided not to eat them. Second, the waitress was trying to serve 2 tables at a time and brought the wrong food to us that probably belonged to the other table she was serving. I had told the waitress that she had given us the food that probably belonged to the other table she was serving so that maybe she could correct the mistake she had made with them also. Third, we ordered tall drinks and received short drinks. Seemed as though waitress was not paying attention to details or even what we had ordered. Fourth, we had ordered garlic bread to go with the main course and that was also obviously overcooked but again the waitress served it to us anyway. Fifth, people who had been seated well after us had received there meals way before us causing us to be late for a scheduled appointment. We spent quite a lot of money for a meal we were disappointed with to say the least. This was not a good experience for a Friday evening out. In the future I might be a little hesitant to visit this restaurant again. Not sure if the waitress was new or not? Maybe she needs more training?

We were not greeted at the door, we didn't know which way to go to get to the dining room. The interior could be updated.
