I would say the service was lousy but I never got any service. The male bartender took my order & brought my drink & then my food order. After that, he never came by again. Then they had a shift change & I saw him wave over in my direction, so I knew the female bartender knew I was there. She never once even so much as came to the end of the bar closest to my table, to see if I needed a drink refill or anything else. Then the floor waitress came by & literally slammed an ashtray on the table & walked off, never speaking, smiling or asking if I needed anything. The female bartender stood at the far end of the bar talking to another male employee the whole time I was there. The floor waitress served a couple at the pool tables to the right of the bar & also 2 guys sitting at a table to the left of the bar, but never once came even close to where I was sitting. The bar is U-shaped with just one row of tables &/or booths going around the bar, so it wasn't as if I was off in a far corner. I was in a booth at the bottom of the U-shape. There was a group of 4 people about the middle of the bar & a single person opposite that group, so it also wasn't as if they were over crowded. After I finished eating, I pushed all the plates to the end of the table & placed my napkin on top, but after waiting 20 minutes, I finally got up & had to go to the bar to get the female bartender's attention so I can pay my check. When I said I had been waiting, she said she was sorry but said it in such a way as if my waiting was my own fault. Having been in wait-service work myself, even if the service was bad, I would still tip 10-15%. AS long as I had no problems & my drink was refilled timely, I would always leave 20% before any discounts, whether the restaurant offered the discount or I had it from some other source. I most certainly will never go there again, nor will I ever recommend it to anyone, but tell them how bad I was treated.

Service was spotty and music was heavy metal LOUD; food was yummy, though.
