Chicken special barbecue sauce excellent. Quiet. Simple wholesome food. Fresh ingredients. Police officers eat here so you know price is reasonable and they give you large portions. Great place for hungry men.

The chicken - what they're known for - was just so-so, but we were the first people in, I think, at dinner time, so it's possible ours had been sitting for a while. The beans and rice were awesome though, and the yucca frita with the garlic sauce (basically garlic in oil) was amazing!! And the 8 piece meal ($20) was definitely enough to feed a family of 3-4!

The cashier was extremely courteous, patient, friendly, and helpful. The food ordered was brought to our table by another lady who was also very friendly and asked several times if we needed anything else. That was excellent service. Although the general atmosphere is good, we were made to feel great.
