Waited fifteen minutes for someone to take our drink order then waited over twenty minutes to get drinks from the bar. once food was ordered it took another thirty minutes to get one of our plates and another five minutes for myself and one other person in our party to get our food.

Music was little loud for us to hear the waiter, we were sat right underneath it. Was not confident in what we were ordering and could not fully understand what the waiter was telling us due to the music.

We entered the restaurant and stood by the door while employees stood near by. After I said, "Excuse me, are you open for business?", one of them said, "Oh, yes, sit anywhere you want to." You know what they say about first impressions...

Please indicate on your stipulations that the buffet is not included. How embarassing to take my friend out for birthday lunch and not know until checkout that the buffet is not allowed. There is a sign only by the register but not on your certificate. Food was good, service from servers okay, cashier/management, not good!

I usually go to La Marginal and have a good experience. This time, the food was great as usual but the service was not. The waiters were not sure who was going to serve us and one of them was very obvious that she did not want to do it. This conversation would have been better done somewhere than right in front of us. The waiter completely forgot part of our order and I have to say that it is time for La Marginal to invest in new tables and chairs.

This was our first experience with Puerto Rican cuisine, and we thought it would be like Mexican. But it is not! We enjoyed the evening nonetheless, altho we were not overjoyed with the food. But, our server took a great deal of time to explain the food to us, it was clear she really wanted us to have a good dining experience. She even cautioned us against ordering a certain dish...well, she was right, and we told her so! You will not go wrong here to try the offerings and see what you like and don't like. The prices are reasonable, it is a lovely setting, and the staff will bend over backwards to help you enjoy your evening. Even tho we are not big fans of Puerto Rican food, you should take the opportunity to try it. There several items we really liked but it was just all very different for us gringos.

First time we'd experienced Puerto Rican food. It was tasty. The atmosphere was nice and, from the moment we walked in, everyone was super friendly. The waitress was awesome. Will definitely go back, again!

Food was very good. I found the cost for that kind of food a little costly. Do not sit in the bar area the music a bit too loud.
