The friendly & timely service of the staff was excellent. They catered to all of our needs without even asking. The food was excellent and reminded me of the excellent Italian food while growing up in South Philly.

The dining experience was very enjoyable. The only complaint was that a couple was seated right behind us (very close tables) and they were very loud.

If you want really, really, outstanding food Gaetano's will not disappoint! Whether you like fish [the sole is amazing] or meat [the stuffed veal chop, when available is awesome] the food is always prepared correctly. Gabe at the bar makes a mean lemon drop martini and Nick is as good a waiter as you will find anywhere

The food and service was good; however, since we ordered the server's verbal specials that were not on the menu we were shocked at how much higher the price was compared to the menu prices. We should have asked. This is by far the most expensive meal we have ever had at a restaurant. The bill was $230 for four adults and a child, and we had no alcohol or desert. We will not return.

The owner helped my Wife select an excellent bottle of wine. The Wait staff was very well trained, polite and efficient. Large portions of great food especially the homemade wild mushroom soup special. Positive fresh atmosphere

We always enjoy the food at Gaetano's as we did last night with one exception. I had the Tomahawk steak which was done to perfection, but was rather surprised when I saw the price of $ 51.95. I think it was overpriced. I have never asked the price on a special before, but I am thinking I may do so next time.
