We both ordered the Braised Beef on Pretzel Roll, I with sweet potato fries & my husband with salad. It was absolutely delicious. The roll was both soft and sturdy, so it held up to the juice from the sandwich. The meat was flavorful and perfectly cooked. 5/18/2013 8:09:34 AM

while the food was delicious, every last morsel, the hostess and server were not rude but were not exactly overcoming with enthusiasm. there's something about cuisine of this sort that goes with an exuberant presentation. you expect your server to be bubbly, drop a lot of "y'all's" and "honey chiles" and "sweethearts". this was not the case, in fact it was nearly the opposite, but please understand, i don't think this server was bad, he even let me order off menu. he just needed a bit more personality, at this particular restaurant serving this kind of food. i WILL go back but i will also hope the management will have "enthused" their staff a bit by my next visit. 4/16/2013 8:11:49 PM

Greeted promptly. Waiter was good. Food was very good. Read some reviews about the desserts being unremarkable, but ours was awesome! (Cheesecake) Also read about the food being expensive. Really? Charming vintage building with comfortable seating and modern decor; great service; great food; stuffed pepper appetizer was fabulous (though only 5 small peppers!); cauliflower risotto was amazing; scallops done perfectly, and the cheesy potato side that came with the delicious short-ribs, was incredible! Desserts are kind of an after thought--wish they were better. Though pricey, it was all-in-all a fantastic meal! I thought the food was good, although a little pricy for the area (East Point) . I loved the wait staff and would visit again because of them. I ordered the fried chicken and scallops for the entree and fried wings and quail eggs for appetizer. My favorite was the wings. However, my cauliflower grits were excellent. 7/12/2012 11:41:30 AM

The restaurant was very nice. The waiter could have been more enthusiastic - we told him this was our first visit. The beef was tender but had lots of fat which made the sandwich difficult to enjoy. We were sorry that the food was not better. The environment is fun, the location edgy, the service was very good. We wanted to like it, but the food was very heavy, greasy, and WAY too rich! The dessert choice was limited and what we did order (fried chocolate pies with ice cream) was pretty awful--two tiny, doughy, greasy pies with stale tasting ice cream (apparently scooped into individual bowls and kept in freezer until served----yuck!)
