This restaurant is ridiculously expensive. Given the prices, I would have expected the food to be "excellent" in every way. We ordered several dishes; only one was "excellent." The rest were "okay." 4/14/2013 12:25:16 PM

Our server, Yoko, was weak. She returned to the table and forgot that she had previouly asked the same questions. One person in our group ordered a bloodymary that was overpowered by horsradish. When she came to the table to ask about out satisfaction, the drink was returned. Yoko asked if another drink was wanted. The answer was water. Yoko asked if the person would like soda. Again the anser was no. Yoko returned with a soda. It was added to the bill. The steaks were good but not up to Chop House reputation. Our visit was a bit of a disappointment. Fantastic service from hostess through dessert!! Great food!! Server never missed a beat. Water and wine were kept full. All food was served promptly. Very friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere. the food was very good and fresh. My husband said the lobster was one of the best he had and he was pleased it was bigger. The service was excellent. Our waitress (Megan)was very nice and very attentive. We were a bit disappointed by the entrees. I had a filet and my wife had the prime rib. My medium well filet was a good size but a little on the dry side. My wife's prime rib had good seasoning taste on the perimeter but lacked taste on the interior. Creamed spinach was very good. The restaurant is upscale and elegant. The food was very good. The food is priced ala carte with many choices. The service was a bit fast with the entrée being served before my husband finished his salad. The server was in disagreement. She felt the Bernaise sauce should be served cold; in order to not separate. I didn't want to dip my warm steak in cold sauce. She did not seem too friendly after that.
