Our server, Dee, had very good customer service skills. My 11 yr old son even said, she is very good and has a lot of patience. The atmosphere was good.

The salad bar needed to be restocked. Only 1 soup was offered and it was a creamed soup. It was very cold in the restaurant as the vent was blowing cold air as a result your food got cold quickly.the rolls were very good.

The food was quite good. However, only one side dish came with an entree (meat or fish). You could order another side dish like potato or veggies for $2.50. Most good restaurants give you two side dishes with the meat or fish you order.

We did the Seafood Buffet and it was very good. The quality of food served ( for the price)was better then what we expected. All seven people were satified.

The calamari appetizer was terrible, sory I ordered it. "Food Quantity" was very little, for prices charged. Also they automaticly charge 18% gratuity.... I dont like that. They said that the gratuity charge was YOUR idea ? There was an overcharge mistake for dessert, we had that fixed. Honestly, I would not go back.

Wish they had some cheaper food items for kids over 12 years, but under 18 years. My girls are tiny eaters, but the bill really adds up when you want a dinner not a burger or sandwich. They opted for pasta. I really like it there.

Potatoes lacked flavor, veggie omelet was fresh & good.
Over easy eggs were cold.

Great food and service. Steaks were very decent, but the grilled veggie sides were a notch above other places in their price range. Chicken rice soup was also best I've ever had.

Everyone in the party of 5 adults (plus our 3 y.o. girl) enjoyed their meals. Everything came out in timely fashion & was appropriately hot & delicious. The two things that rubbed me wrong were:
1--I was not aware that the restaurant was situated as part of the hotel. Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but if I'd realized, I think we might have picked the Ale House up the road.
2--The most bothersome of the experience was the checkout. I clearly placed the $50 Restaurant.com voucher under the bill, denoted the change ON the bill & when it came back to me the payment was processed without reflecting the $50 savings. I had to ask the server (as she was walking away) if the voucher had not worked. This of course is a bit gauling, because when it comes to the bill, the customer wants to just get it over with & have no discussion. However, this scenario meant that I HAD to say something in the middle of dinner conversation drawing attention to the fact that I had a coupon. How embarrasing. If I'd thought about it I would've adjusted the 20% tip downward...but like I said, I just wanted it to be done & go away.
Otherwise the culinary experience was delightful.

Alex and all the staff were superb. We had the breakfast buffet which was a great deal but even better since they accepted r.com. Real bargain and no shortcuts...custom made omlettes or any eggs, waffles, plenty fresh fruit and prime rib too.
