We have been dining at Birraporetti's for over 10 years now. We are always treated very well, served quickly and the food is amazing! We LOVE Birraporetti's!

The restaurant wasn't busy - 4tables filled and it is pretty good size place.
Waiter was personable - but slow and unfortunately, he seemed to be the only waiter for the tables.
We had Caesar salads and lasagna and tea/cokes. Waited quite a while for salad, then when the Lasagna did arrive - it was on a hot plate but the food was cold.
We had waited so long for it, we didn't have time to send it back as we were on our lunch hour and that was now 1 1/2 hrs.
there was no bread served and then waiter told us it would cost 2,75 which was odd, but ok - but it would take about 5minutes to get it - we said thanks, no thanks.
Taste/quality of food was good - just COLD.

Other than the food being fairly good, I am not sure how that place stays in business. It has gotten too expensive. Charging for both bread and salad in an Italian restaurant? Last night was probably my last time to dine there.

the dining room is too dark and they sat us next to the patio door that allowed smokers to go out and smoke. when they opened the door all the smell of smoke came into the restaurant.

Our waitress Cheryl (sp?) was wonderful! The food was pretty good as well. There weren't many people there so we had the restaurant to ourselves. It was pretty peaceful.

Food was excellent but the waiter didn't bring us salads that we ordered at all, didn't bring extra sauce we asked for, took forever bringing the check. Reason? He was flirting with a table of 3 girls and didn't seem to have time for the other 3 tables he was supposed to be waiting on.

Calamari had panko breading. Lots of breading and thinly cut calamari. Ordered linguine and shrimp diablo. Linguine was so overcooked or old that it was almost round. The texture of the pasta made it obvious it had been cooked several days before. This $14 entree had a heaping tablespoon of the smallest shelled shrimp I have ever seen. Seasoning was very good but the actual food was inedible. Tres Leches was really stale. Unbelieveable that after pouring sweetened cream over the cake, and it was still inedible. Prices at restaurant are substantially higher than those on restaurant.com. For years, we ate at Poretti's twice a week. No more for me.

Sunday Brunch had no food! For $20, should be a well run brunch. Service was non-existent.
