The food was wonderful. I was pleased to learn that though we were eating brunch a little early, they offer the lunch menu all day. I had a Tuscan chicken sandwich that was amazing, and my husband seemed pleased with his turkey burger. The service was generally good, but we had to wait a while to be greeted by our server, despite the fact that the restaurant was very empty. At the end of our meal, we had to track down our server in order to receive our check (to be fair, we had been talking for quite some time after the conclusion of our meal, but no one really checked on us, either).

generally good food and nice place for a quiet meal. Not good to see tables with dirty dishes for the entire dining experience.

There is such a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe at the Booksellers Bistro. The food is always wonderful and inventive.

We were on our lunch hour (limited time)and it was a birthday celebration. They took a long time to bring us our food. The soup came first and that was very good but it took over a half hour for the Quiche to come and they brought us the wrong Quiche - we ordered the vegetarian and we got the chicken. Didn't have time to send it back but it was very dry and was disappointing. I have gotten the Quiche before and it was delicious. The manager gave us each a cookie to take with us but we were disappointed int he meal.

I was forced to pay a gratuity charge of 18% for a take-out order. Will not use this restaurant or Restaurant.com again !!!

I love this little restaurant. Buy a book and read over a meal. The food is great!

The waitress was very unfriendly, probably because I was using the coupon, although the tip I paid was on the value of the entire bill, before the coupon. The same thing happened on February 23, 2013 when I used the coupon for a take out order, the manager told me that the coupon doesn't apply on take out orders, but he will honor my order for that time only, AND HE CHARGED me 18% tip based on the total bill, before coupon.

We didn't feel particularly welcome...the greeting and seating was pretty cut and dried...without warmth or welcome. The waiter brought our check without ever asking if we wanted dessert. We had to tell him that we wanted dessert and coffee. It felt like he wanted to be done with us. Every item he described to us (and to the ntable next to us)after we chose our food was "the best item in the place." That can't be true, can it? My salad was extremely overdressed (very oily almost to the point of inedible) the quiche was curdled (overcooked? sat too long?) but the tomato bleu cheese soup was wonderful.

There were many dishes that were appealing and we wanted to try. We were both very pleased with the quality, quantity and presentation of the food.
