The food was good, and the service was great, but did not have the best greeting when we walked in, we felt like we were drilled about our coupon and if we were paying together, which was strange since we are a family of four and young teenage kids probably wont be paying for themselves. 4/17/2013 10:06:49 PM

I love this type of atmosphere because it is so unique and different from anything you can find anywhere else! The food selection is wonderful, a bit pricey, but being that it is a full dinner show, worth it for a special occasion. 4/11/2013 8:16:39 AM

The dipping sauces were not as good as other hibachi places I have eaten. My wife particularly did not like shrimp was kinda blah tasting. The chicken rice was excellent. The filet mignon was excellent. Lobster was ok but I needed better dipping sauces would have made a big difference. 3/23/2013 12:17:14 AM

Our service was very friendly, polite and quick. Our meal was prepared quickly. The ambiance of the restaurant is so-so...could use some updating. Meal was prepared well by our chef but the quality of ingredients isn't en par with other hibatis we have gone too. The soup, salad dressing, dipping sauces were not as good as other hibati grills with a similar menu and price range. Would suggest they add noodles as a course and maybe a small bite of dessert. Most hibati grills include both as part of the dinner experience. Tried one roll as an appetizer and it was very good. Our son liked the kid's drink options and the fun curly straws. Also, not sure if they have nightly specials for weekdays but knowing I could get my favorite entree for a special price on a certain day would bring me back again. 3/18/2013 12:14:02 AM

slow night and we were in a vacant part of restaurant with very infrequent service by waitress.....disappointing. the on table chef was polite but not engaging like normal. So the whole social aspect of these types of restaurants was disappointing this time. 3/12/2013 10:05:34 AM

My boyfriend and I dinned at Domo77 on MArch 7, 2013. We decided to dine in the different dinning room from the room where they cook infront of you. Unfortunately, wee were never told that we will have to wait for our meal for an hour. I usually used to get miso soup with the combo dinner, this time for some reason we got chicken bullion! The waitress was very sweet and very nice, but we never were offered the water, 30 min later we had to ask for it. After 50 min of waiting the waitress came in apologizing for waiting and she brought a large pitcher of sake, that was very nice. She also told us that our food will be ready in less than 10 min. We finally received our rice. And only about 25 (!!!) min later we finally received our meals. The scallops were overcooked, and steak was not medium rare, but definitely medium. It had a nice flavor thouhg. My boyfriend's filet mignon was medium, the way he ordered and very tender, good job on that! However, eggyolk sauce was slightly overcooked, it seams that our meal was cooked in such a rush of course!). I have eaten at this restaurat in the past about 5-6 times and I was never dissapointed, exept the fact that the cook always serves the rice last. WHY??? The rice can stay hot on a bowl for about 20-30 min! I would like to eat it with my steak/scallops/shrim and vegetables. By the way, this time vegetables were almost raw. From this experience I have learned that I never want to eat in a different room and I'll come back to give it a shot maybe one more time for juicy and tender shrimp, juicy, tender and not overcooked scallops, miso (not chicken) soup, medium rare stake and not overcooked eggyolk sauce. The servers english was very poor, she just didn't understand anything that we asked her for. There was something floating in my husbands drink, he asked for a new one but she thought he just didn't like it. He wanted the egg yolk on his scallops but she didn't understand that either so he never got it. He was pretty frustrated and it made for an unenjoyable meal. 2/28/2013 12:08:42 PM
