Our party was ages 55, 65 and 66. It was a little loud for our taste but we were still able to talk without shouting and nobody else appeared to find the noise distracting.

My husband said the ribs he had were the best he'd had in Roanoke and he eats that frequently. I can personally vouch that my hamburger was top notch. The salad was fresh and had carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers and onions and the dressing aas delicious. The fruit cup was fresh cut fruits and the bread pudfing dessert was delicious and decadent. The service was excellent and the ambiance just what we needed.

My 1/2 rack of ribs must have been from a tiny pig and the fruit salad was a combination of tasteless apple, dried cranberries, canned pineapple and mandarin oranges. Definitely not up to the usual Martin standards.

I ordered the ribs and they were excellent. Best I have had in Roanoke in a long time!!!

The grilled chicken was dry, bun was soggy from whatever "marinara" style sauce was on today's special. Just mediocre food and mediocre service at a premium lunch price.Server never checked to see if we needed anything after food served. I actually saw her sitting at another table near the bar watching tv...

Great service. Good food. Steak was only "okay" but the rest of the food was fantastic.

We had a large group of people (20+) in a group of individual tables. Service was fast and constant and the food was *great*!

Burger was ordered Medium -- was served Well Done. Was a late lunch for me and too hungry to won't to deal with having a new one cooked. Waitress also forgot dressing for my salad initially.

We loved the food, service was excellant. very nice atmosphere. Lovely surprise receiving a rose and candy for valentine's day -nice touch!

Took 45 minutes to from time we were seated before we received food although there were very few people in the dining room.
Main dish was excellent for everyone.
Not a fan of the green beans. Very bland.

The only problem we had was the burger was ordered "medium" and was not pink in the middle as ordered and "well" for a member of our party.

Appears portion of ribs was smaller. Potatoes where not very warm. Prices are to expensive.

Martin's has some of the best hamburgers on the planet (especially the Philly Cheeseburger). The fish and chips are also great
- not what you get in the UK, but very good for the US.
