We love the Argyle, and are very comfortable bringing our kids and grandkids there. The service is always OUTSTANDING and the food is wonderful. We try to go every 2-3 weeks if not more often. We can't WAIT for the weather to improve so we can use the outside seating area! 4/23/2013 2:16:52 PM

Dined in the bar area and stayed to listen to the band. It was very enjoyable. We have dined at the Argyle Grill many times and have always found the food to be mediocre. Thye food for this visit was noticebly improved to the point I asked if there was a new chef. The reply was that it is the same chef, but he has put a strong emphasis on consistency. The manager came up and introduced himself, the waitress was wonderful. The food was delicious. Great atmosphere and according to my husband the best Calamari he's had in Rochester, and believe me he's tried Calamari at many many good restaurants. My husband had the Prime Rib and I had the Ble Steak, which was a delicious steak with blue cheese grilled on top of the steak. A great dining experience. 3/11/2013 8:06:33 PM

We have been there multiple times. Food is excellent. Staff is usually attentive. When they get extremely busy, there is usually a slight delay but with good company, that is not an issue. 2/20/2013 8:10:07 AM

The food here is really good! We eat at the bar in the off season - chefs have really been executing well and consistently, and servers/bartenders are competent and very personable. Favorites: nachos, burgers, side salad, frittata omelet, monterey chicken, drinks. Its in your own back yard but set off the road so its not an hour wait to eat like at the mall, something of a secret. 2/19/2013 10:08:04 PM
