We love Hector's on State. It's a small friendly place with excellent margaritas, chips and salsa. The food is great too! We love the tacos, and enchiladas and we always have excellent friendly service.

The food was great, the salsa is FANTASTIC. It is authentic mexican food. We love this restaurant and will continue to mark this as one of our favorites.

I love all Hectors food. My wife can not handle the heat. the waitress was very helpful in helping my wife make a good choice that she could eat.

The plate was delivered and the waitress said hot plate but the enchildas were barely warm.

Our server, whom we have had several times before, was EXCELLENT. I'm afraid I don't know her name, but she has worked at Hector's for a long time and we have always received great service from her--in fact, she even knows what I order! She is friendly, efficient, and accommodating.

Hectors atmosphere is that of an old unupdated corner bar,nothing Mexican about it.The walls are a tacky looking painted paneling.The service is always slow and the food lacks any kind of flavor what so ever.

Service was great. With kids it is important to get the food out before they fill up on chips. The food came out quickly and hot.
