Waited a long time (considering it wasn't busy) to have even beverage order taken; wait staff waited on a table/took their entire order (before we even had water poured) and they came in after us; then, one out of 2 entrees were ordered incorrectly (Porcini Raviolis when Fettuccine Alfredo was ordered?) so the dish was removed and the other was left; eventually got the attention of the wait staff to take the correct dinner back to the kitchen to keep it warm as the other replacement was taking a while. Ordered a glass of wine for the wait--it tasted old/acidic tasting/ unlike the delicious flavor of the first glass. The FA arrived and was fair--too much garlic. My meal was good. We go there about every 2 months and always have an enjoyable experience. This was not good. A comp. dessert was offered and appreciated but overall, a bad night. 3/24/2013 10:38:33 PM

Our server was friendly and attentive. The chef sent over a complementary salad. Each of us ordered a different entree. The meals were excellent! While there is only street parking, we were able to park very close to the restaurant. We are looking forward to our next visit. 3/13/2013 10:03:22 AM

I would like to share with everyone my experience at Lantana, the food was beyond anything I would have thought to experience. The waitstaff was excellant and we were sent a complimentary Ceasar salad which was great with homemade dressing. You have to try their French onion soup, the best you will ever try. Everything about this restaurant was such a special treat. I would tell everyone to try this place, I know we will going back soon for many more dinners. We went on a Monday night in November, and three tables were occupied, including ours. The sole server disappeared for 20- to 35-minute intervals from the time we were seated and continuing through water pour, app order, app delivery, drink order (there was no offer to order drinks; we had to ask at app delivery for sodas and a glass of wine), dinner order, and dinner delivery. Furthermore, we asked for bread three times; when it came, it had a raw-flour taste and was very cold. Our appetizers and entrees were delivered cold, not warm, not tepid-- cold. I am guessing that if the dishes had been brought shortly after preparation, they may have been good. As stated, the server disappeared for long periods of time, which makes me wonder about the chef who operates in an open kitchen with a view of most of the restaurant. Why didn’t the chef notice the dishes he prepared were sitting stagnant? Why didn’t he serve the dishes himself? Where is the pride in the work here? Insult to injury, one dish was ordered with extra sauce (a thin sauce, not tomato-based)and was requested to go. It was packed in a snap-shut styro burger container.
