Service was really good being that we had lunch at 3pm...we were the only ones there. It is hidden and in the middle of all these bail bond places..it's an older establishment so not somewhere you would think to stop at. Food was good..bento boxes were generous portions. Apparently Live Sushi Bistro charges gratuity for 5 people dining at one table. And they don't have certain agreements mentioned on Restaurant.com like how we can only use 1 certificate per table when we had 2 and were splitting checks (although they did only mention there was a minimum purchase of $35...made us spend more, thanks.) Everything was high quality and delicious! I moved from Alaska (land of delish fish) to Japan because I like sushi so much. The sushi here was incredibly fresh, very well-selected for mouth feel and nearly creamy umami flavor. Tea and appetizers were excellent and very similar to what you'd find in Japan. Very good high quality sushi. Location of the restaurant not so convenient and even though they required a reservation, the restaurant was empty apart from us and one other table on a Saturday evening. We saw lots of delivery orders going out though. The food was very good especially the poke.
