Niwana
Niwana serves great food the Sushi was excellent as was the noodle dish we had. The atmospher is pleasant and surprisingly quiet even with a pretty full house. Our only negative was the service. While our server was very pleasant there were long periods during which we did not see her. Our hot dish came to the table very quickly but our sushi took approximately 30 minutes. It was delicious but the hughe gap between dishes made the experience a bit awkward. It was probably an isolated situation and we will definitely go back to enjoy the great food and hope for a bit higher level service.

Restaurant was crowed so we were sat in a bad section and felt like we were forgotten about a few times by the server.

Server didn't understand the order and then when told that she got it wrong told me that I was wrong and hadn't ordered correctly. Food was OK, though sushi rice could use seasoning/vinegar- just tasted like plain white rice.

The food and service were great. My husband and I were looking for a nice sushi restuarant closer to home, we have found it! We really enjoyed the experience. The prices were very reasonable.

The kitchen was rather slow but the wait staff was very apologetic. If we hadn't known to order some non-sushi bar appetizers we'd have been uncomfortably hungry. The Niwana roll does not have real crab on top and the wait staff apparently didn't know the difference because when queried, they assured us it would be real crab. Overall, we last love this restaurant , but we know to be prepared for mixed experiences with kitchen speed.

excellent!!! appetizers (we had the seared tuna and the seafood salad in tangy sauce) were amzing and the sushi rolls (both "regular" maki and the "special" rolls were very tasty adn freash.

Waitress was extremely slow with requests, was inattentive, informed us of no refills, then when we ordered an additional beverage actually informed us that we can have refills after all, only refilled our beverages once and that was after being asked despite the 3 visits she made to our table to bring us our orders. Very poor service and then 18% gratuity was already added to our order. Server ruined the experience. The appetizer was a bit greasy and heavy and entree meat was dry, possibly overcooked. Our two free salads (one for each guest) came in two different bowls. The restaurant was cold so we were wearing our jackets indoors.

Soft shell crab and kalbi are unrivaled! Drinks are strong. Service is fast and pleasant.
