The creme brûlée was cold when served and the hot tea wasn't really hot. Loved the scallops. Goat cheese salad had too much dressing on it but good combo of flavors. Server was knowledgeable.

There could have been more lighting.
I did enjoy the music and the atmosphere.
The sauce on the side vegetables was amazing and the service was awesome! I enjoyed it.
The other food didn't match up to the description on the menu: fried zucchini and dinner portions could have been different.

The food is always fresh and delicious. You can even request brown rice instead of white. Everyone is very friendly.

Our waitress was very enthusiastic and helpful with menu choices. I only rated it a 4 because we waited a few minutes to be greeted after sitting down. My son and I wondered whether anyone knew we'd been seated.

This was our third and last dining experience at aroma sushi.. not counting the time a group of us arrived for happy hour 20 minutes early, and were told we would have to wait or come back... so we left, and a nice dining experience at Arirang across the street. Our first time in we had a very curt server, who charged us for a bowl of rice for our child that we thought was free. This final visit we overheard a server tell another table some very poor info about their sushi choices, we were a little surprised at his inability to make a recommendation, as well as his not knowing which sushi roll items were actually uncooked, and which were not. We were very disappointed by the fact that a wine promotion voided by our use of the certificate reduced our value by about 8 dollars. And our server, who sensed we were bothered, instead of seeming empathetic, acted annoyed and argumentative. She certainly wasn't prepared to give us the last word. The quality of the food was a little disappointing as well, although the soup was quite good. My coconut chicken was terribly soggy, cold, and tough. We will not be able to recommend this restaurant to anyone, based on the inflexibility of the staff to bend small rules that competitors seem willing to do regularly. Good customer service, and promoting repeat business by providing a more welcoming atmosphere would have made all the difference to us. I know the day six hefty bar-tab and sushi eating appetites walked out over a 20min happy hour wait was a poor business decision.

We were seated at our table for over 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. When they brought out our platter of sushi, they didn't bring small plates as they had everyone around us. When I asked for them, we were brought saucers and the waiter said " sorry- that's all we have- the others are all dirty." The sushi was good but not excellent.
