The ambiance isn't the best as it is part of a hotel and it's not a great place for a date night. We didn't realize that we were going to a hotel restaurant and may have contributed to our disappointment in the ambiance of the restaurant. I had the ribs to which were dry, but they did fall off the bone and they had a good sauce. My wife had baked walleye which was not too tasty (I had some), the potato pancakes were like hockey pucks and it was served with corn - not exactly the best vegetable to have with fish. I heard people like their fish fry, but we will not be returning.

Lunch entree selection was varied and interesting. With six diners, it isn't often that everyone is 100% satisfied. We were more than satisfied at Innovation today.

The mozzerella sticks are quite good! I ordered the tilapia wrap and unfortunately, it was not good at all. The fish was very underseasoned and there wasn't much of it. My daughter ordered the breakfast burger and that was quite tasty. Our server was Paul and he was very attentive!

We ordered a Steak which was good but the vegetables was zucchini and onions. Not what I would call vegetables

Steak just ok. fake mashed potatoes. vegetables seemed like they were just cooked frozen veggies.

service was excellent. Salmon special was good and delivered very hot too table. Prime rib special must have been waiting for salmon to get done and it wasn't kept hot.

Beautiful decor and great food. Service was horrible! Server was rude and slow with having only 2 other small tables.

Waitress ate while table had dirty dishes and soda's needed to be refilled. This is all while we watched our food sit on the shelve to be delivered. Our food came out cold. The brown rice they served - was inedible - you couldn't even cut it with a knife (under cooked). They served cheap frozen chicken that looked like it sat out a little so that the ends were a crusty red. It seemed like the chicken was just heated up in a microwave. Waitress spilled potato chips down another lady back - no compensation for this. It seemed like the server knew she was automatically getting her tip (due to size of party) that she just didn't seem to be putting full effort into her service. The majority walked away hungry and thinking Taco Bell sounded better.

The waitress was not interested in doing her job, she was not very pleasant and we had to ask someone to send her to us when we needed more drinks and I had a concern for my dish. When she brought back the credit slip to be signed she interrupted my husband who was telling a story so he would sign it and give it right back to her. On the positive, everyone else was very pleasant, the surroundings very comfortable. The salad bar is very enjoyable!

Kids menu items (for dinner) are limited and way overpriced. Kid drinks for $3 is ridiculous.

We have been to innovation numerious times and have always been very happy. This time it was dissappointing. Prime rib was not good at all. No flavor & dry. Very dissapoint Sweetest Day dinner. We will try back again in hopes the cook was having a really bad day.
