Wonderful food, atmosphere & waiter...what more could you ask for anything more? 4/30/2013 6:04:01 PM
My wife and I were pleased with our recent visit to Arcodoro but felt a few things could have made the experience more pleasurable. Upon entering the restuarant and checking in with the host, we were seated directly next to another party of two. This is understandable considering it is a restaurant, however the place was empty. We didn't really feel it was necessary to pack us against the wall for the waiter's ease. As first timers, we found it to be a bit of a 'bait and switch' for the servers to put out oil and balsamic for bread; to then find out bread isn't free and must be picked off the menu. The waiter at one point, stepped outside to have a cigarette, and this was apparent by the scent he brought back in with him. Following our meal, we found it comical that when ordering a scotch on the rocks, the 'rocks' (also known as ice), is not included. At two additional dollars per glass, it'd be interesting to see how charging for ice adds up on a weekend. On behalf of the food; we didn't dislike what we ate. We split an appetizer (caprese salad) and had probably the best wet buffalo styled mozzarella yet in Dallas. My wife ordered the ravioli's and we both felt there was nothing special about them. Myself, I ordered a lobster ravioli that had enough lobster meat in it to make me happy, yet it seemed the chef had a heavy hand on the salt. It lead me to believe the lobster may have been on its way out and it was an attempt to conceal it. Overall, we will return to Arcodoro Pomodoro, but with some hesitations, keeping it simple and ordering only appetizers over drinks. 3/5/2013 8:09:25 AM
I expected better tasting food, it was just really bland with no flavor. We tried the recommended dishes by our server and both my girlfriend and I were extremely dissapointed and would not dine here again. 3/4/2013 8:12:13 PM
The service and food is fantastic I think this restaurant is a secret in Dallas because there were not alot of people there 2/25/2013 6:09:53 PM
We had the Saba rotissiere chicken, recommended by our waiter, and it was delicious! We even bought some Saba sauce to make it at home! Our waiter was very helpful in our food choicing decision. He seemed to know every detail of each meal on the menu. The atmosphere is very relaxing and artistic. 2/25/2013 4:12:16 PM
The interior/ambience was very nice and the staff were very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. The quality of the food was very good but the actual menu items are probably too sophisticated and expensive for our tastes. We eat out a lot and there are so many restaurants out there (all price ranges) that we would consider to be of much better value - and we're not talking about barbecue places either. 8/28/2012 5:35:09 PM
We celebrated two birthdays The wait staff was exceptional. Our waiter had the same birthday. Great fun. 7/20/2012 3:49:53 PM

Excellent place in Dallas 6/22/2012 3:06:03 PM
We only saw our main waiter twice. When he took our drink order and then when we placed our food order. We were never asked by him if we needed anything else and wanted another drink. Your other staff was very helpful and friendly. We actually live in the area and eat out in the area several times a week for dinner. It was too bad our experience was so bad. 6/22/2012 2:51:38 PM
Everything was fine, just not worth the cost. We have spent more for meals, and can say the value just was just not there at ARCODORO & POMODORO. I would recommend ARCODORO&POMODORO, but just not in first place. If all I wanted to do was impress someone, it still would not be in first place. Among the local 5 star restaurants, they are third or fourth in our neighborhood. 5/17/2012 2:36:02 PM
The food was great..The server was new and not dressed as well in his attire as the others. The table we were sitting at even though I repeatedly told all personnel about the leaf not holding and falling down throughout the meal, not much was done..Did it ruin our time no..but it didn't make it 100% enjoyable..The staff also has a tendency to want to remove plates before you are done or all at table are finished..Just a bit of refresher course is needed but overall nice evening. 5/13/2012 9:20:01 PM
