The food was undeniably great. The service was pretty good but surprisingly slow. The wait was much longer than they originally said. The website looks NOTHING like the actual dining area. The website paints an almost fine dining experience. The actual dining experience is extremely (extremely) casual. Very very unorganized, line long and no order, maybe it speaks to their popularity or to the fact that they were backed up on orders. Great soul food but it's too small and if they get backed up everyone is standing on top of each other...and they ran out of cornbread. I think they are overpriced...would only go with a restaurant coupon. They do give you lots of food but I'd never pay $19 for carryout soul food. That ain't soul at all. 3/12/2013 4:03:27 PM

I would definately put the facilities in the "dive" category, but I wouldn't let that intimidate you. Everyone was very polite, but it took longer than I would like to get served my food. Could have been because they seemed busy that night. 3/5/2013 4:15:55 PM
