We got seated right away. The atmosphere was wonderful. We sat by the window where we could see the lake. The servers were very warm and courteous. Our appetizers and entrees arrived in a very timely manner. Our food was delicious. My baby back ribs were so tender that I cut them with a fork. The portions were very good. I had to get a take home container. I would definitely dine there again. Thank you Restaurant.com for making our dining experience a great one!

Food should have been hot the fries and onion rings were cold the meats were, barely warm.

The food is so so for the price, but the drinks are ridiculously overpriced...we had no idea we were paying $11 a glass for a HOUSE red wine, because there was no actual drink menu! And then when we got to the end of our meal, we were told that they were having trouble with our Restaurant.com certificate, and that we couldn't use it...which is insane, because our waitress told us they had been accepting restaurant.com for years. Fortunately, she just went ahead and took the $25 off of our meal. But the experience was irritating enough that we probably won't ever go back there.

Iced tea glasses were small. But the waitress accommodated us and put a pitcher of tea on our table at our request!

They may have been under staffed. Our drink was not kept full and some of the wait staff seemed anxious.

Felt ignored, but staff was nice. After we ordered it took over 45 minutes for our food to come. Then 1/2 hour after I noticed that every other table has staff stopping by, they also did not bring any Corn Bread as they brought to all the other tables. Once our meals came, one of the entrees was completely wrong. It figured since the waiter did not write anything down. Not the waiter that took our order was extremely nice, he apologized multiple times, too bad our waiter did not.

Wished we had been asked about the cooking of the eggs for the Eggs Benedict...mine were almost RAW. I did not send it back because I was a "guest" (having given my certificate to the host of our get-together). Also, the green beans were under cooked, not trimmed properly (bad places on some), and several beans were still attached to the stem thingies!!!

Overall very relaxed atmosphere and wonderful food. We dined at the bar/restaurant at our hotel the night before, and we were very disappointed. Dining at the Commons was a wonderful experience.
