Trying to get a table was horrible. You were forced to stand near the cramped host stand in order to hear when your table was called. However, the few outdoor tables were first come, first serve, which made getting one a little awkward. The service was HORRIBLE. Worst waiter I have ever had. When I sat down after the previous party had left (and before the table was cleaned), I made sure to leave enough room for the waiter to get in and clean the table. He then came by and ordered me to stand so he could clean! I would like to say that this was the worst of it, but it wasn't. It took nearly 40 minutes to get a glass of water, and this only occurred after I asked for it. He was extremely curt the entire time. The food wasn't that great. We ordered a chicken-pesto-pasta dish. We weren't even sure what kind of meat was in the pasta when it came out. It tasted like something out of a can. Went on a weeknight, after the dinner rush. Paper Moon had plenty of space and we were seated immediately upon arriving for our reservation. Our server was prompt and attentive and provided great recommendations. The food arrived hot, was well seasoned, and the portions were more than sufficient! Server and restaurant did not hesitate when presented the Restaurant.com gift certificate as some places have with other discounts. I would definitely return. 1/20/2013 7:50:02 PM

The food was good and the service very friendly. But because we had a coupon, the quantities were much smaller than normal quantity. My daughter ordered exactly the same as the person sitting at the next table - we could really see the difference. I don't think that is fair! 6/5/2012 6:31:43 AM
