The pulled pork was a little dry today, but very good on our previous visit. Today's salmon salad was a winner! Service was perfect!!

Food was great and prices weren't bad. Our server was very good too but our table was sticky and the place was empty.

The food was excellent. Our server, Trinity, was great and attended to our every need, even before we asked. Another server there, a gentleman whose name we did not get, was friendly and informative. We would recommend this restaurant

We have seen the many incarnations of this restaurant, sadly, I do not think this is as good as previous themes/menus. I am glad I we had the card to discount it. They are convienent for us, and we used to go there all the time when the menu was more of our taste.

Very limited menu overall. We were having a birthday dinner, and the selections were rather disappointing.

It was a decent experience. The food was pretty good, however the order was messed up and the server told us at first the manager was too busy to see us. We finally saw the manager and he gave pretty good service but it was still a little frustrating. I give the restaurant a C overall.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I hope that they were just having an off night because although the place was fairly empty the service and food were both awful!

Food was OK - but the menu choices were quite limited and the portion sizes were disappointing especially compared to the prices.

We were there at lunch time. We waited for at least 5 minutes for someone to seat us. Then we waited over 30 minutes to get our food. It was unacceptable.

We have been to the restraunt in the past and enjoyed it very much. This time however the menu was nearly nonexistant compared to our previous visits and the food was bland and unrememberable. The portions especially for the side were very very small. If we had not eaten so much bread, we would have left hungry! The pepper crusted tenderloin steak, had no pepper crust? Our server was excellent. We all felt that had we not had the discount coupon we would have felt robbed. After our food experience it was no surprise that ours and one other were the only tables full on a weekend night at peak dinner time. It was very sad we have had many memorable meals at The Garlic Onion in the past.

While the food was good and the service pleasant, the restaurant is located in a Holiday Inn and feels very institutional. The venue feels like a typical 1980s hotel with booths and tables with captain's chairs. It was almost deserted while we were there and the only other patrons were hotel guests, some who obviously just came in from the pool. To get to the restaurant, you have to walk past the hotel bar which still reeks of cigarette smoke. It was just a sad experience overall and while the food was just "good," we will not be back as it lacked any uniqueness and is in serious need of a renovation.
