The Loaded Slate
We were there at 1:00 for Sunday Brunch. There were no other tables occupied. It was so loud at the bar we could not hear each other as we talked.The forks and knives were plastic which was okay, but they were in a cup on the tables with eating ends up, so all were touched by whoever took some. Yuck! I ordered the loaded omelet. There was so little egg I could hardly see and couldn't taste it. Strangest omelet ever. We carried our food outside when it came and never saw the server again. Even had to go back in to pay the tab. Good place to drink and party at the bar, I guess. At least there are tables outside. No atmosphere, but tables.

Everything was good, except some of the burgers were overcooked and pretty dry.

Wings were great. Fajita's were good; didn't come out sizzling like you expect as in other restaurant. Proportions were perfect. Alcoholic drinks were quite shy on the alcohol, but drink prices were cheap.

The food was good, service was fair, and atmosphere was ok. Our server was not very attentive, took my husband's drink away before he was done with it, and gave us talls when we wanted shorts.

This was not a resturant. It is strickly a Bar that serves food. My husband and I took our 11 month old and were so disappointed we took food to go because there was no where to sit except bar seating. I would not list this place as a resturant.

Food was great! Service was great! Love the fact The Loaded Slate's "happy hour" was well into the evening!

Small venue and our table was not sturdy and kept moving. The waitress kept forgetting us even though there was barely anyone there.

Crowd was very young. Only two tables to eat. Music was extremely loud and they played r and b.

Loved the pretzel roll on the burgers we ordered. The Chili Fries were also a hit.

Service was terrible. Waitress was apologetic but was very under experienced. She was not knowledgeable of the menu, we had to ask for water more than once, she messed up our order (most likely b/c she didn't write it down) and we were in a little hurry which she didn't get.

The service was really good although the music was crazy loud for what appeared to be more of a sports bar. Basically though, the food was not good.

The server did a good job and the food was good as usual, however it was too loud. The tv was blaring (the marquette game was on but the sound was cranked to insane levels), and even after I asked my server to have it turned down it still was at an uncomfortable level. I had a hard time hearing my server or the person I was with because of the sound/music level. A sports bar should still try to walk the fine line of having on sports at audible and game-like levels but at the same time allow for casual dining where people can actually hear eachother talk.

The food was amazing. The Server was very nice and Let us eat in the back before a private party was coming.
