there was a centipede in my water that I did not notice until i had a couple of gulps. The manger did not care at all about the situation and blamed it on the ice that she got from somewhere else. Our food took for every to be served. When I order the jumbo shrimp cocktail, they served me 3 medium size shrimp with sauce. The inside of the building is in need of some TLC. 5/13/2013 2:08:28 PM

Food was ok, service was beyond horrible. Sat at a table near the bar, constantly overheard bartenders loudly cursing at each other and overall just slacking off, again our service was terribly slow and another table near us had horrible service. I'm afraid the food was a bit of a let down. Not terrible, but nothing special. My companion sent back her lobster bisque as too salty. My dessert (cheesecake) looked great, but tasted distinctly artificial. We did have a wonderful server who was cheerful and attentive. 3/15/2013 12:08:32 AM

Our waitress was informative, pleasant, attentive without overdoing it, and I wish I knew her name. The food was tasty and the portions should satisfy a healthy appetite. We had scallops wrapped in bacon which were delicious. For dinner we both had the Wexford steak with a baked potato and veggies. The veggies were colorful and done to perfection. The steak was very flavorful and cooked to order. We did not get dessert as we had dessert waiting for us at home. We did stay for a cup of coffee which was fine. If you go to Downey's, take South Street to Front. Turn left and then immediately on your right is a public parking lot. It is $2 per hour for a maximum of 3 hours.
