Some of our food was good and some just average. A little inconsistent with food quality. It is expensive so needs to be more consistent. Service was good and atmosphere is good. But not excellent rated for the price. Not sure it would be a place I would go to very often.

We celebrated Valentine's Day this year at The Maine Course. My significant other called ahead to see if he could bring flowers by to surprise me with during dinner and they agreed. He asked that they be brought out after we ordered our drinks and wow were they timed perfectly and gorgeous!! My significant other ordered the Parrot fish and I ordered my favorite, the beef tenderloin!! Unfortunately our waiter returned to inform us that they were out of the Parrot fish:( My significant other was disappointed but chose scallops instead. Not five minutes later the chef appeared at our table and apologized about the Parrot fish, he told him that if he was interested he could possibly do half parrot fish, half scallops-my guy was excited. Dinner was wonderful, we had a great waiter, great service, wonderful food, and an overall lovely evening!

When we dine out we really enjoy trying things not fixed at home...This place really has it!!!!! Great idea the sampler.

I really liked the atmosfere, The Staff were all very accomadating. We made one big mistake. We only had a little over an hour to eat. It seemed like a nice place to have an intamate evening. They really made you feel special.

The menu was changed. They were out of the neoki. There was no rissoto. The food was cooked well, but we miss the vegetarian dish he had.

Their food is always excellent, but when I went there last, they got rid of my favorite steak dish! However, this did give me the opportunity to try the delicious pasta.

The Maine course is amazing! The ambiance, service, and cuisine is impeccable! We had a guest from Bloomington, Illinois who was very impressed and expressed her desire to return to the Maine course in the near future.
