The people and atmosphere were great. It was our daughter's 22nd birthday. The owners were so gracious and treated us as if we were family. Food was superb, the belly dancer top notch and quite pretty. James our server was wonderful. We recomend Skewers to anyone.

THIS PLACE HAS GREAT FOOD THAT IS NOT EXPENSIVE. THE ATMOSHPERE IS NICE FUN AND CLEAN. THEY HAD LIVE MUSIC AND BELLY DANCING

I've spent time in the Middle East and look forward to a great Arab meal and Skewers has some of the best food in Houston. Make sure you ask for JACK as your waiter, he is form Lebanon and knows the food, great personality....!

the waiter took our drink orders and brought the appetizer, but after 15 minutes of waiting had to flag someone to take our main order. After that service was better.

I had the grilled salmon. Size of the portion was for an appetizer. The vermicelli rice was tasteless - had to add spices

The appetizer arrived after the entree. But all the food was good. Atmosphere there is a little lacking.

Chicken kabob plate was excellent. Hummus fair - needs more tahini. Greek salad was good, chicken on top was not the same chicken as the kabob, would be better with kabob. Liked tahini salad dressing better than balsamic.
Food was served promptly until we ordered coffer at teh end of the meal, which took 15 minutes to get!

The service was incredibly slow, and the waiter kept forgetting about us.

Food and service was wonderful. However, the man who provided the entertainment kept turning the volume up after every song to the point where we could not even talk at the table. We were literally yelling.

We have eaten at Skewers many times when it was under the old management. It was very good and healthy and convenient to our home.

For the price, it was certainly ok. It is very close to the movie in my neighborhood, so very convenient. Not my favorite but adequate.

The food was good, but not best Lebanese good I've had in Houston. If the service had been better I would return to Skewers. Our waiter hardly ever returned to our table and we had to get up and go to the fountain machine to refill our own drinks after having empty glasses for ten minutes. We also received food that was frozen in the middle. When we told our waiter he just took the plates- didn't ask if we wanted any more and didn't offer to take them off of our bill. As we were finishing up our entrees, our waiter brings us another plate, now piping hot. We were then too full to even eat our replacement plate. We then asked for our check and had to wait an additional 5 minutes. Overall, the less then stellar service was the biggest disappointment of the night.
