Our waiter did an excellent job, friendly answered our questions knowledgably and let us enjoy a free pear brandy after dinner...truly a very nice first time dining experience .........we'll be back

Food is always excellent , especially the duck and the daily risotto. We sat outside on a beautiful night and that was perfect.

Food was really delicious...4 different plates at our table and each one was fabulous. Service was just right. Atmosphere was comfortable. Thank you.

Overall the experience was GREAT. There was a sax and bass player there which was awesome except that the restaurant is a little small for a sax player so it was a little bit loud. But the food was great and the service was fantastic!

I really like this restaurant . . . great atmosphere and lovely staff. Sometimes, though, the food is a bit uneven. We ordered a couple of tapas plates that were okay to marginal. Our caesar salad and duck breast entree, though, were delicious! Have been there before and food was fantastic. So . . . like I said, a bit uneven.

I love First Course. The food is fabulous and the atmosphere is wonderful. The service it great as well.

Food was good but very small portions. Owner or Manager gave us attitude because we did not have a reservation and almost did not let us sit to eat in an empty restaurant.

Loved he selection of Tapas and appetizers to start. All four pasta dishes were shared and raved over. Half price wine night was nice surprise!

get reservations or get there early. They were very nice to seat us without res. but would have stayed longer but we were in someone elses seat..

Food and menu selections were good. Service seemed a bit slow, but we were out in less than 90 minutes including appetizer and dessert, so we felt it was reasonable. Nice 2 piece jazz group there providing quality but non-intrusive music.

We had reservations but could only get a high top table. Difficult for our guests.

Cute place food was out standing! The chairs and booths are fairly uncomfortable. Service was just ok. The food made up for most if that.

This restaurant was a real treat. It looks like a little whole in the wall and you walk in and the decor is simple but modern with great ambiance. And the food was creative, tasty with a great presentation. Loved it!

The chicken roulade and Parmesan risotto had great presentation appeal and the dish had a very fine flavor and was quite gourmet. Portions were sensible, as they should be.
The service was friendly and excellent; the decor is a bit dark (eyes take a little while to get accustomed to darkness) but tastefully decorated (especially the bar area!). One would not guess from the road what a nice bistrot lies behind the door.

They had a full house. I may get a reservation for my next visit. We ate our meal at the bar and had a great time.
