The wait staff was very attentive. The restaurant was quiet as there were very few people there. My filet was tasty, tender and cooked as I like it. However, the buffalo that my husband had was pretty chewy. the sides were nicely done, and dessert was delicious. 5/20/2013 6:06:47 PM

Bronco, our server was very pleasant and provided us with excellent service throughout the evening. Atmosphere was pleasant. Food was very good, both of our steaks had excellent flavor but both were slightly on the dry side. 2/28/2013 10:15:45 AM

The Ceasar Salad was generic and lacked flavor. The filet mignon was very good but the ribeye needed to be trimmed better. The ambiance was horrible. It looked like a cafeteria. The waiter was very nice. He was obviously very inexperienced, but tried really hard. 2/3/2013 9:43:05 AM

The bass was cooked perfectly -- the balsamic vinaigrette didn't go well with it. The spinach salad was wonderful. Due to the opening to the bar area, the crying and screaming kids made the evening not as enjoyable. 1/21/2013 10:02:52 PM

The steak was amazing, mine was perfectly cooked (medium rare filet) and the mashed potatoes were great. My husband got broccoli instead of asparagus and his was not seasoned at all, so that kept the food from being rated 'excellent'. The service was fine, and we enjoyed the dinner; but we felt it was really too expensive to merit going again without a discount like the one we used. Without it the meal would have been over $85 (with no appetizers or drinks), and the restaurant didn't quite seem to merit this price. 1/17/2013 2:42:01 AM

Our food was excellent! My husband thought it was the best steak he had ever eaten!!! Our server was excellent. However,it took quite a while for my husband's steak to arrive but he said all was not bad as he was able to work up an appetite : ) 5/19/2012 9:21:56 PM

Overall our steaks had good flavor and were cooked medium rare however the outsides were charred way too much. Either the grill needed to be cleaned or the steaks not cooked so fast and hot. 4/17/2012 10:31:28 AM

I will definitely eat at JW's again! The prices were not any higher than most other good restaurants in Boulder. The portions were much bigger though, so you could easily get more than 1 meal out of the servings. And because it wasn't busy, we had excellent service. The decor could use a bit more interest, but it is a hotel and a small restaurant, but I really appreciated being able to hear my dining partner too. 2/28/2012 10:56:57 PM
