Service was spotty...but it was Cinco de Mayo...and expected. Food was great. And the employees were great...if you treated them like you would want to be treated.

Well to be honest it was more than excellent. It was fabulous. From the time we walked in and were seated to the time we left it was great. The food was great, the waiter was great and very attentive, the owner came over and introduced herself and also introduced her daughter. We started talking to another table that came in and just had fun...The music was at the perfect level so you didnt have to talk over it. the Margaritas were superb. The desert was wonderful and this is our new Mexican home.

Hosted a book club meeting at El Rey. Very well suited for that since there were not that many other customers at the time.
Our server was working solo.

The margarita's were great. Fresh fruit margarita's are always great.

The food was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent. This is my new favorite restaurant.

It was a really good meal, but there was only one other table of people there. They need to advertise and get the word out that East Point GA has a worthy, not expensive, place to eat.

I do enjoy El Rey. My only complaint is that the same item on the menu tastes different almost everytime due to switching chefs so often.

Food was awful, re-fried beans were dried out and cold and hard. Food was cold and tasted nasty, would never recommend this restaurant to any one or eat there again.

This restaurant had very nice portions at very reasonable prices. The food was very good.

It was an awful experience. The food was very bland, the service was very slow, even though we were the only customers in the restaurant. There was a small piece of broken glass on the table and while eating my food, there was plastic (looked like saran wrap) on my fork!

It seemed to take a long time for our food even though we were the only people in the restaurant for lunch! Also, temperature of the dining room was a little chilly.

I enjoy authentic Mexican food, and must say this establishment goes to the top of my list. My friend really enjoyed the margaritas. A few of the chips had a strong oily taste, but not the entire basket. A gentleman came over several times and asked if our meal was ok. We really appreciated that.
