The salad was good. The chicken Marsala taste like the chicken had been boiled and was kind of tasteless. The Marsala wine sauce was watered down and did not have a lot of flavor. The only complaints I had with the restaurant were I called for reservations a week in advance and when we got there they did not have a record of our reservations. Thank goodness it was a slow night and they were able to seat us immediately. Also the waiter forgot to order our appetizer until we reminded him when our entrees came. Environment: very nice setting, bright window, lovely plants. Service: poor. The waiter was not very helpful for the first time diner and did not make much suggestions and introduction about the menu, the waiter was not readily available for napkins, refill water and other services, this happens at a time when only 1/3 of the table was seated. Food: one of the Spanish entrée we ordered was very greasy, and small in serving size, and poorly matched with vegetables. house salad was okay. House bread poor for an Italian restaurant. The young kid seating needs to stay at entrance and concentrate on what he is doing. Also by now he should know estimated wait times. To be off by more than 100% on the time is not acceptable in my opinion. 30-40 minutes does not mean 1 hr and 15 minutes. 5/1/2013 10:04:21 AM
