The waitress was very nice during the first half of my meal, but then she completely forgot about me... I sat at the table staring at the wall for about 30 minutes after I finished eating, waiting for her to come back to me to ask how my food was and if I was ready for the check, but she never did. I finally got fed up and walked to the bar to get a server's attention. I was dining alone, and noticed that the large groups received very attentive service. Party size should not be a factor in level of service. I would still have given her a good tip if I had at least received at apology for the poor service, but I didn't. She got ten percent, and I never give less than fifteen unless I'm extremely dissatisfied. It seems great for large parties and families, but I won't be returning. The garlic knots were good, the linguine and clams with white wine sauce was acceptable, and the fried calamari was terrible-- rubbery and dry. The prices were good though, 6 chicken wings for $4.50 and 12 for $8.50. Hopefully the other guests' experiences there will be better than mine. 5/17/2013 8:21:08 PM

Was very impressed with Tates. The waitress was very friendly. They have the best priced hot wings. Which my husband ordered and enjoyed. Son had a pizza. He gave it 2 thumbs up.
