I thought the food was decent, but not a place I would recommend to someone. If you are into a loud bar/ grill scene then this is for you, but we came in one a snowy day many of the servers were watching he basketball game not attentive to customer service. Which I believe should be their first priority. I've been dining at Croc's for a long time (20+ years)but I've noticed a decline in service over the last several years. On this particular day, there was going to be 10-12 in our group. I understand large groups can be difficult but I almost felt unwelcome. When I told one of the servers about our party he pointed to two tables and said "you can sit over there, that's about the only place we have that will fit you". While I recognized that to be true, he just seemed bothered by the whole thing. When we first sat down, I asked our server about seperate checks and she said it would really be too difficult. I understand that, but no other solution was offered. We were spread out over two tables - perhaps each table could have gotten a seperate check? Again, I do realize that the seperate check thing is a pain for servers and the restaurant but for a group that large, it becomes troublesome to have to figure out each person's bill, make sure the appropriate tip is left, etc. Croc's is a place that is near to my heart and I have recommended many friends over the years who have become regular customers. I'm just disappointed in how the customer service has changed over the years. 3/26/2013 12:12:18 PM
