A legendary steakhouse named after Patrick Smith's rich novel featuring Florida's historical moments and landscapes. Serving a variety of cuisine and accompanying wine list as succulent and filling as its namesake. Proudly serving Harris Ranch all Natural Prime Black Angus Beef, as well as menu items catering to all tastes. Located in the Golf Clubhouse. Open nightly for dinner. Chef Dan Nester has been with Rosen Hotels & Resorts since 1996, managing all of the culinary areas at Rosen Centre, including the Everglades Restaurant. He moved to Rosen Shingle Creek in 2006 with the opening of the hotel and Cala Bella. Nester started his career at age 15, training with top chefs in both Orlando and Atlanta. Since then, he's developed a simple, rustic style of cooking that allows big flavor to shine through. "I believe that quality ingredients create the dish," said Nester. "I just assemble it."

A Land Remembered's MacIvey Private Dining Room is the perfect setting for business dinners, rehearsal dinners or any intimate gathering. Inside, features rich, dark woods accented with brass fixtures while artwork by Native American artists adorns the walls.

Located at a secluded section of the restaurant; The MacIvey Room comfortable seats up to 24 guests.

Rated 2 out of 5 by The reason for the poor review started with my meal, my partners meal was great. I ordered a baked potatoe, when it arrived at the table it was brown inside. I requested a new one and was told they we all over cooked. If that was the case, why would they server them in the first place. Next, my ribeye was to be medium rare. That was not the case, for $42 I expect it to be cooked as requested. When I told the server, he took it back to the kitchen and told the chief to give me it rare, like it was my fault it was not cooked correctly. In the mean time, they brought me another glass of wine. The manger offered us free dessert too. When the new steak finally arrived it was in deed rare but by this time I just wanted to get out of there. We will return because we usually have a wonderful meal so they are worth another chance.
