As soon as we arrived, we were greeted. We were seated promptly. As we were seated our drink choices were taken.

The salad was bag salad and not fresh, I didn't finish the salad. The house dressing was delicious so I dipped my bread in it. The fresh baked bread and olive oil were tasty.

Food is always delicious, but the service is lacking! No greeting upon entering or exiting the restaurant, poor table service as far as friendliness of staff, refill drinks, etc. Also, the booths are like sitting on concrete slabs!

When we arrived we were seated right away but it took our waiter, Rick, 8 minutes to greet us and they only thing he said was: what can I get you to drink? Not even a hi. Drinks arrived 6 minutes later and we ordered. When my husband asked about wine selection, Rick told him to go to the bar and look at the bottles and pick something. My husband did that but there was no bartender! There was another server working as well and we stopped her and asked how do we order wine and she was very happy to tell us what they carry and even brought the wine to my husband! Our food took 65 muinutes to cook and by then everyone just wanted to go home. We ordered dessert and it was ok. Our served did not even once smiled. Food was excellent though and we might go back if we get someone else than Rick.

The food at Alfonso's is great. The only thing is this time the dinner I wanted to order wasn't available so I ordered someting else which was very good.

I was a little diappointed that there was only one soup choice and the dressing that I wanted for my salad they were out of. It was not that busy and the service should have been excellant.
