fish fry was extremely greasy.. the first serving was good but second was swimming in grease. waitress put in a second order without asking if we wanted it or what variety of fish we wanted to try. order came to table b-4 we even knew about it so we turned it down thinking it belonged to the next table. poor communication!

The food was great. The bartender/waiter was pleasant and really aimed to please. Great appetizer and drinks, too.

The food is excellent and so is the service. The prime rib buffet is the best bargain in town. The fish fy is also excellent.

The atmosphere was sterile, very basic hotel atmosphere. Loud bar, dull lighting. Food was okay, but the atmosphere just made us want to go home. It was a birthday dinner for my husband -- so sorry I tried this restaurant for that.

Good service from both our waitress and the bus boys. Restaurant manager nicely dressed and working hard like everyone else, not just sitting around watching. We will come back soon.

great taste! The lighting in the bar area was a little too bright for evening, when people want to socialize, not inspect documents.

We had an oversize table in the first room that was too big for two people. When the bill came, the waitress had already added more than a 20% tip to the bill as a service charge. I don't think that is one of the rules of restaurant.com and I would have done a 20% tip on my own. But I did not appreciate having it added to the bill for me. I meant to complain to restaurant.com when I got home and then just decided to let it go until you sent this questionaire.

I loved the Lamb. I had dinner with several 70 year plus aunts and uncles and they were not as pleased. The Lamb was a little rare and thats a no no for that generation. The two orders for Steak were rare, when well done was requested. And when the order was re-done the other items on the plate were no longer warm.

The staff was especially accommodating as we added an additional person to our reservation at the last minute. From the server to the chef and a manager, all were pleasant and appreciative.

We had two main things that bothered us, first there were raw onions in several dishes and second there were a lot of fish bones in the Walleye

Usually the fish is very good. However, this time potato pancakes were raw in the middle and the baked fish was charred on parts of the outside and raw yet in parts. Like they were trying to cook too fast to get it out.

The greeting staff seemed confused as to whether or not they had seating available. We had to wait about five minutes to be seated. When we actually entered the restaurant there were about four tables in a cluster that were all empty and available.

The lunch staff have been extremely friendly, and the regular chef always asked how the food was.
The clam chowder is out of this world!
