Angus' Cafe Bistro
After the show at the theater across the street we went to Angus' for a late snack. Not a very fancy place, but their after-show menu was perfect! Very good and just the right amount.

Staff was very nice though could have been more attentive considering that the restaurant was rather empty. We were disappointed with the menu changes and some of our preferred dishes (that were more on the reasonably price end) no longer being offered. Seems that the menu is more limited and too pricy than it used to be.

Bistro environment was well done, service was attentive and the food was good. Also very convenient to Times Square and theaters.
One caution: The checks are calculated by hand, and run the risk of errors.

Good food and quick service so we had plenty of time to enjoy and get to our show.

The burger was fine, chicken dry and at those prices. Most expensive martinis in midtown. Without the $25- I would probably go elsewhere.

Only saw our waiter three times the whole time we were there. The bus boy had to get us our drinks refilled. Waiter asked us if we wanted bread and we said yes. Bread never came. Again we had to ask the bus boy for it.
I'm sorry, but after this place has changed management it is no longer worth going to.

While the food and service is good, outside of the prix fixe; I find the entree price a bit high... $28 for a wee bowl of lobster bisque & seafood with a pastry crust.

portions were small. food tasted like it had been previously frozen. salad was old, wilted. the only good item was dessert.

Cafe was cramped for seating space.

We were seated at a table for two that was uncomfortably small (we are not large-sized people), and we were told that we had to sit next to each other rather than opposite each other, or we would be creating a fire harzard and interfering with the staff. They then moved us to sit in the noisy bar area, although we preferred a quiet table.

This bistro has a great variety of food and treats you as a welcomed guest. Their food is very tasty and the service is fine.
