Ban Zara
They refused to package our leftovers. We had to fuss with tiny styrofoam containers at our table ourselves. The containers were not suitable and spilled in the car.

Waited forever to get our food. But when it came it was amazing. Service leave a lot to be desired. Was sitting around for about ten minutes before even been shown a menu. But again this could be overlook because the food was so amazing.

Service was lousy, 1st time there, no greeting, no ask for drinks. I had to get up and find server.

We walked in at 7:45pm - we were the only customers in the place at that time - only 3 more small tables came in during our time there (that is, they were NOT busy). We ordered appetizers and 2 of the (more expensive) entres. Our entres arrived 45min later. The appetizers arrived 5min after the entres and no offer was made to explain or comp. The wait staff was not responsive. The plates and glassed were not clean. The food when it finally arrived, was good.

Food was Pathetic. We were in by 1.20 PM and the food items in Buffet are almost complete and Ban Zara didn't bother to refill the food items. Also food quality is very bad. Hope this is my last visit to Ban Zara.

service was good, the place was freezing cold. not a soul in the place but us. food was good, but it was my last Indian food experience

Had the Buffet. Everything just came out of the kitchen. Tasted everything. Can you say DELICIOUS!!

The service is too slow. And you need to repeat the order multiple times before the waitress can get it

Terrific friendly service staff, very attentive, willing to talk about and advise us about the delicious food. The only low point in the evening was when the music at some point during dinner changed from traditional-sounding Indian music to techno - very jarring change but at least that grew quieter after a short time and became less intrusive.

I'm normally a fan of India food but had to pick out several bones from meat dishes and that was a turn-off.

The service was pretty close to horrible. There was only 2 other tables, and they seemed to just be finishing up when we got there, but we were pretty much ignored. It took them a long time to bring us EVERYTHING, except maybe for the food. The food tasted good, but my husband and I ordered the dinner buffet and my kids ordered off the menu. Their food came out nice and hot, but the food on the buffet was barely warm. The curry chicken had tons of bones in it, and they were soft from being cooked for so long, so they were very hard to pick out. They did not make a good impression on us, which is sad because we only live about five minutes away.

The waitress was horrible, asked for left over container and when she brought to us she dropped on the floor. I can't imagine what she did; she picked up put on the table for us to use saying "it was dropped straight that is clean to use". OMG

Service was horrible. The waitress was very pleasant and the orders were delivered to the correct person, however it took a long time to be served. One dish came out about 10 minutes before the rest and we had to ask about them to get them out. The saag dish was way too salty - and this was not the first time (we decided not to ask for a low salt dish because we thought the first time might have been a mistake). I also found ist strange that they added the tip in autoamatically for our party of 4.

In the buffet, the items keeping changing as well the taste. If item are completed they will take longer time to fill it. So attimes we even not get till we complete dinning.

They had a party that day and service was poor also the food we ordered was not good

While the food is excellent, the servers don't understand English well at all. Our orders (4 of them) came out 10-15 minutes apart instead of all together as requested.
As we grew more agitated over the delays an English speaking employee intervened and somewhat alleviated the problem. The cuisine here is great, but make SURE that your wishes are fully understood.
