I just used one of 2 passes I purchased from you, and I want a refund on the remaining pass, as I will never eat there again..
Very lousy meal, which prompted me to write a review that I posted on yelp.
The salad and atmosphere was ok..and the waiter was friendly. But from here it went downhill.
The salmon which was advertised as wild was pale and tasted like farm raised... The mussels and clams in the seafood tasted stale and on the verge of spoiling.
The terramiso was soggy and tasted as if made with a cheap Safeway chocolate topping...
The meal was so bad that I told the waiter how we felt about it, something
I've never done.. In short the chef was either having a very bad night or this
is a place to avoid...
I wouldn't go back if the meal was free..

Excellent service and delicious authentic Italian food. The only reason I didn't rate then 5 stars is because the tiramisu was watery. Other than that no complaints whatsoever.

Over all the service was fine. We had to ask for water a few times and bread a few times because they forgot.

The food was very fresh and perfectly prepared. The calamari steak and the risotto were delicious. Highly recommend.

We did not make a reservation because we coming back from out of town....the owner and wait people were very hospitable and the food was delicious.

It was a very inviting and serene place. Once business picked up it got a little noisy but not bothersome. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable.

Definitely will be back. Not crowded, could hear well, food was good. Atmosphere felt upscale but still kid friendly. Good for kids practicing their dining out skills.

warning! this restaurant doesn't associate with restaurant.com anymore (does any?? every time I have bought a coupon I have to fight to use it)...same here....they finally honored it (I bought it 2 months ago) but it took some convincing....

Our appetizers, main entrees, and dessert were excellent. Our server, Marco, also made this dining experience a true pleasure. Entire staff at Benissimo was also welcoming with warmth and professionalism. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to Bay Area locals and visitors from out of town. Benissimo is a true gem!

Food wasn't very good compared to the price. They crowd the place with tables, the table next to us was 2" away. Got very stuffy once it got busy. We gave the waiter our coupon before ordering and it wasn't applied to our bill, they charged my card for the original amount and then again for the discounted. Now I have to wait for the refund to go through.

Our waiter had a lovely Italian accent.. He made the experience better along with the locals who came in to dine... I was not at all impressed with the outside environment until I came inside...All the staff was lovely.. I know that you were busy and need the booths.. I just wished that there was a more romantic place to go to as a couple.. The place near the window was taken,, the booths were reserved. So I would not recommend it for a romantic evening.. Please let a couple reserve a booth..

Tucked away right at the end of Camino Alto, the back-road hill that curves over the grade to Mill Valley, Benissimo has all the authenticity of a neighborhood Italian restaurant without the forced campiness from which many other "family Italian" restaurants suffer.
The dining room is spacious, yet small enough to remain cozy without feeling cramped. In true Italian style, the owners may greet you at the table, and it's quite possible you might see a neighbor or two dining across the aisle. French doors open onto a wrought-iron patio, which allows diners full view of the street from behind a lush canopy of hanging and potted plants.
Lunch: We are available between the hours of 11am - 3pm for Lunch Parties/Buy-outs of 20 or more people. We offer a full Bar, full Restaurant Menu or fixed Menu (to be negotiated) full Service and Complete Privacy in a Beautiful setting.
