Bossa Nova
For the first time since we have been going to Bossa Nova (and we have gone many times), we found all of the meats on the skewers overcooed. Even when we mentioned this to the waiters, there was still not a correction in the preparation. Each time he started cutting, we informed him that it was too well done and all we got was "sorry". We will go back again hoping it was a "rare" occurance, but we also noticed that half of the restaurant was not even prepped for customers and it was a Friday night.

Nothing fancy, run of the mill Brazilian Buffet. Waitress was nice but did not understand any of our questions and we did not understand what she was saying. Awkward.
Food was mixed, some good some not, lots of salt. The meat from the BBQ was good.

I was a bit taken back when I saw the several choices of meats on their board and we were only asked if we wanted 5 of them. I have been to other places where they keep serving all their choices until you don't want it anymore.

After we sat down we waited for about 1h and 30 min for the food. They had No bread, no apple juice for kids, no orange juice. the juice they brought had the syrup not mixed in (in lumps)No soup. no fish. we were luck to actually eat at all after the wait.

The food were extremely dry and hard.It's seem like the food has sitting on the steam line for hours and dry out. Especially meats. Not alot of options. No soup at all of any kind. Cost is $18 per person (on weeknight) is way too expensive for the meal options we seen at the restaurant. All they got for dessert are just basic fruit of such watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydue and grapes. No cookies, cake of any kinds. This is notthing compare to chinese buffet restaurant at all.

I went on a Tuesday night around 6 P.M to celebrate my wife's moms birthday. The food in the buffet was cold by the time i got back to my seat and the meats from the grill were sort of over cooked and salty. The price by the pound also was a bit expensive compared to other local brazilian restaurants. With the quality of the food i had there with my family, we are most likely not going to return for quite a while unfortunately!

I was extremely upset that we were charged for 4 people. We had 3 adults and a 1 year old baby that had probably 3 bites of rice.

Always enjoy coming here. The food is always good. I like that they change the dishes on the buffet line so it is not always the same items each time we go.

From a 4 star to a 2 star rating based on one visit...
It's been 5 months since our last/first visit. While the food was still very good, the service was absolutely atrocious. Our waitress kept disappearing, and the skewer/server was often absent as well. The place was really quiet, meaning there were only 3 other tables seated in the entire place. Our waitress went downstairs for at least 15 minutes, and no one else checked on us at all; I kept seeing staff members socializing, ignoring everyone. I had to ask the bartender to refill our drinks and to send the server over. I thought the waitress would figure out we were displeased at that point, but she filled our glasses and never returned. Being dissatisfied, we decided we had enough and wanted to go, and waited at least 10 minutes for someone to stop by, but no luck. I went to the hostess and asked for the check. They said my waitress had to get it for us, and she went to go find her. Several minutes later she appeared. I understand it's a slow Tuesday night, but you're not encouraging patronage if you ignore the customers you have...

I've been here many times but this particular night seemed especially good. The service was attentive. The food prepared well. Nothing was overcooked or.overdone.

Could be better if the staff weren't setting up the stage during and tv projector prime dinner hour. Distracting and unprofessional. Everything else is good.

Everything was delicious except for the Polenta (extremely bland) and the Lamb tips (extremely gamey).
