Rated 1 out of 5 by This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The waitress(I think owner) was awful. I ordered the special that was on the board along with a large pizza. The soup and order of garlic bread came out. We had ordered extra garlic bread, so we were supposed to get two orders of garlic bread. I saw the waitress/owner walked over to the "specials" board and wiped off the original price that I had seen when I walked into the restaurant. Then she walked over to our table and told me that they made a mistake and that they have to charge me for the corrected price, which was a dollar less than the original price in the menu. I had let her know that it was our first time visiting their restaurant and that we had to drive a long distance to get there. I thought she was going to honor the price that was on the board. One order of garlic bread was supposed to come with the meal and the waitress/owner gave me a hard time about getting the second garlic bread. I had to walk over to the "specials" board to show her that it said it's supposed to come with the special. She wasn't happy. When we got our bill, she charged me the price that she had adjusted upward for the special. Also she had charged a 30.75% tip which equaled $9.19 on a bill that was supposed to be $32.29 after tax, but before the discount was applied. She said that she had only charged me a $6.50 tip, which still would have been a 21.75%tip. And in my opinion, I think that was way too much considering the service that we received. I have heard of restaurants charging a 20%tip on parties of 8 or more, and that is understandable. But there were only two of us. I told her that I was not going to pay the amount that she had on the bill, but that I would pay the correct amount. She was yelling at me in front of her customers. I told her she should stop yelling because I was not yelling and she became even more enraged. I told my son to go across the street to get cash, because there was no way I was going to give her my credit card. While I sat there waiting for my son to return with the cash. She was yelling at me telling me that she was going to call the police on me and that I can never return to her restaurant. She was the one who grossly over charged me. Her math didn't add up correctly. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. By the way, I payed the restaurant $28.00 cash, that included a 71cent tip. Aug 10, 2014
