So good! Great selection! 4/6/2013 4:04:22 PM
Food and service is always excellent. They are willing to adjust the dishes to not include items that are not wanted by the customer. 3/31/2013 10:18:31 PM
Ambiance was great, food & service were great, can't wait to go back! 3/29/2013 2:10:34 PM
A little over-priced AND my vindaloo was not at all spicy. Vindaloo is supposed to be spicy and I asked for it to be as hot as possible. It was MILD. 3/24/2013 2:07:01 AM
Third visit to Bukhara - excellent as always! Amazing service and wonderful value for the food. 3/12/2013 10:04:14 AM
The service was good but the food was just so so.When served, our food was luke warm not hot. It made us not feel good that night like we had eaten spoiled food. The dishes were very midwest spiced, we like it to be authentic and spicy. 2/24/2013 4:03:39 AM
The food was wonderful. Unfortunately it was very busy that evening and we arrived at the peak time. We had to wait a half hour before being seated. 2/19/2013 10:19:13 AM
Absolutely wonderful, so much fun to try something new, we will be back! 2/16/2013 2:49:39 AM
ordered 4 vegetable dishes. vegetable korma and vegetable makhani were the best, malai kafta a bit disappointing (sauce good, balls less good) 2/16/2013 2:31:51 AM
All the food was excellent and the service was very attentive. Lots of patrons, even for a snowy night. 2/8/2013 8:20:21 PM
The food as always was exceptional! The service is the same - exceptional. 1/20/2013 6:38:47 PM
We had such a delightful lunch a few weeks ago, we had to come back for dinner. Loved everything we ordered. The only problem is that we can't taste everything like we can do at lunch time. As always the service was excellent. Thank You! See you again soon. 1/19/2013 11:52:18 AM

Highlights

Welcome to Bukhara Indian Bistro

Before the British occupation of South Asia the predominant force that ruled a majority of the continent was the Mughal empire, which originated in Ferghana (modern day Uzbekistan).

The cultural and religious capital of this empire lay in Bukhara due to the established silk trade routes from the Far East to the Mediterranean. This Indo-Islamic power had control over most of Asia and the city of Bukhara was the melting pot for all these cultures and their cuisines, as this great power vanished so did much of its culinary inventions, but some aspects of this style survived in Northern India which have since come to be known as 'Mughlai Khanna' (food of the Mughals).

Today we carry this ancient tradition of culinary excellence at Bukhara Indian Bistro under the supervision of the first chef to bring North Indian food to Minneapolis and of one of the best North Indian culinary arts master in the Midwest Chef Joginder Cheema.
