I have dined at Cafe de Paris twice, and greatly enjoyed both dinners. The food is high quality. The scampi were great and my wife's chicken cordon bleu was excellent with an excellent spice blend. It was the best I've tasted. I also really enjoyed the vegetables that came with dinner, as well as the Peach Melba we had for dessert.
We went on a special weekend when coupons and discounts were not accepted, but they were kind enough to honor our restaurant.com certificate. It is best to ask about certificate use ahead of time when making a reservation.

The service was great, and the food was fabulous! The atmosphere was pleasant, too. Though it was expensive for us, we felt like it was worth the cost. We definitely lingered there for a long time, which is unusual for us in a restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone!

Truly professional wait staff, food that it actually prepared for you rather than put together on a line. The onion soup is always perfect.

The food was really good, but the atmosphere is terrible. Really out-dated, shabby looking. The service was...ok. Not personal, or special considering the money we dropped here. Even making the reservation over the phone wasn't a pleasant experience. Just not very friendly or engaging. Also, we felt like we were the youngest diners by about 30 years, so maybe the decor is more appealing to the older crowd? We won't be back.

Our meal was excellent, but, they were out of my favorite white wine. It is a charming restaurant with consistently excellent food.

The desserts were dissappointingly grocery store. The room is dreary and could use an update. But the main entrees were perfect, the only reason the place gets good marks.

Service was slow because of only one server and one assistant for the whole restaurant. That said, they were both very kind and hard working.

A happy experience overall. We went midweek evening and the place was fairly empty, but the service was friendly, the food very good. The atmosphere was a bit nostalgic, with lots of Piaf playing in the background, and the decor seemed a little tired. The bench seats along two walls had run out of life and might easily be replaced by chairs. Perhaps an extended happy hour (nearby restaurants were hopping) and more of a bistro feel might bring in a larger and younger crowd. Still, we had a pleasant, delicious meal and would recommend the Cafe de Paris.
