We normally love going to this restaurant, but on this occasion just as our soup arrived, the fire alarm went off. The staff was unable to disarm it and so it continued until the fire dept. arrived. Most everyone could not stand the noise, so went outside in the rain to wait for the fire dept. We know that it was probably not the restaurants fault, but we thought that it would have been a nice gesture to offer a complimentary dessert, drink or appetizer. When one person in our group asked if they were offering a complimentary dessert, our waitress said "what for??"

Great experience. Server was very attentive and helpful. Food was excellent - highly recommend the Peace Bowl.

It's a vegetarian and vegan restaurant. They offer the best in vegetarian cooking, offering also gluten-free and raw options. The courses and desserts are so delicious. This is the only restaurant we go to !

Always a delightful experience. I like to try something new each time I dine there; and I've never been disappointed. Very gracious, welcoming staff; and nice atmosphere. Can get a little loud when it's crowded, but a small price to pay.

We both didn't understand the artwork in the restaurant. The food was under seasoned.

Since it was our first time, the waitress brought us a sample beverage which was really nice. The food was pretty good, but ours was not super warm. The waitress offered to have a new one made, but we didn't want to waste the food since they don't microwave anything. But our waitress hooked us up with a dessert for free, so it all worked out. 3 people in our party were not vegetarians, yet they each found something delicious to eat. The potato wedges are great! The pizza and black bean burger were very good. The peace bowl was alright, but I'd try something else instead next time. They pay special attention to gluten free peeps too.

The pizzalonia had an underlying after taste, the mozarella? The veggie torta was okay but the potato dumbed down the flavor. The nachos were excellent!!! recommended by waitress.The carrot cake (which was take out) had to much flaky coconut on the outside. I feel should be just on inside w/other ingredients. My husband thought it was dried out tasting.

The restaurant is so peaceful and quiet! I never feel rushed! The food is incredible! We both commented on how we didn't even miss the meat which is he highest comment we could give a vegetarian restaurant.

The food was wonderful, as usual. Jennifer made a big deal about calling and having a reservation,even after I told her we did call and were told we didn't need one. Also served me a very cheesy risotto after telling her I was lactose intolerant.

Server Courtney was very, very nice, informative about the menu and had a great smile. However, she needs to learn to read her table better, I felt rushed. I arrived 1st, then my friend, we began talking right away, she hadn't opened the menu and she was over asking if we were ready. I am a former server of 20yrs and my friend is still a server. I guess I should have mentioned that we were not in a hurry and that we would track her down. That is the ONLY issue I had. Otherwise the atmosphere was great, food FANTASTIC and pleasant service other than being rushed.

Our Café supports the environment by using eco-friendly building materials. The floors and front counters are made of bamboo. Window and bathroom counters are "paper stone," constructed of recycled paper. Recycled metal light fixtures, walls covered with 100% non-toxic paint and foyer partitions fashioned of recycled plastic complete the Café's decor. We further support the environment by using carry-out containers made from sugar cane, corn, potato or vegetable protein. We use no plastic or Styrofoam. Café Manna is the premier 100% vegetarian restaurant in Southeastern Wisconsin. We are committed to bringing you "made from scratch" fresh yummy food. Our ingredients are grown either organically or using sustainable farming practices whenever possible. We also use locally grown foods as seasons permit. Additionally, we use a reverse osmosis water purification system. We are proud to be the only restaurant in Wisconsin certified by the National Green Restaurant Association.
