Highlights

Located at 1331 H Street, NW, Cafe Mozart is a family-style German deli where you can start off your day or finish it. Serving fluffy buttermilk pancakes and hearty French toast in the morning and beef goulash in the evenings, you find something to satisfy your German cravings. Entrees are served with your choice of two sides, including spaetzli, bread dumplings, bean salad, sauerkraut and other German favorites. Cafe Mozart is perhaps best known for its delicious sausage plates and samplers, but it also offers seafoods, sandwiches and choices for children under the age of 12. Cafe Mozart only seats two or more, so grab a friend, a significant other or the entire family if you would like to dine in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by very nice atmosphere. Jan 4, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by We've always had good German food at Cafe Mozart in the past. This time, not so much. Two of us wanted to split a schnitzel and in the past the kitchen has plated the halves for us. This time we had to do it ourselves. It was supposed to be a veal schnitzel and it may have been. We couldn't tell for sure. Whatever it was, it was under cooked and had a muscle or tendon running through it so that it was impossible to cut. Jan 4, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Dishes were good but food could have been hotter. Service was a bit slow, but will visit again as the sauerbraten, schnitzel and entertainment were worth it. Dec 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Food was excellent. Sorry that they had already run out of the venison goulash. Good service. Dec 28, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Server rushed us through the meal and courses. Food was not as good as the meals we had while living in Germany for 6 years. Dec 19, 2014
