Service & Food was great. Ordered unfamiliar items and server explained in depth what we were eating and how it was prepared.

Waaitstaff and food were excellent; prices very reasonable; great prices on beverages. Waiter's suggestions were exactly as desired and recommended. We had Steppenwolf Theatre tickets and the staff was very respectful of time constraints and very responsive. Overall great experience.

Food was excellent(provental appetizer, ribeye, gnocchi vegeteranio, and panqueque) Service pretty good. Ambience a little dark and smoky from the grills. Will definitely be going back.

Food was good, overall. Unfortunately, the waitress never came by to check on us - didn't ask us how our food was, nor did she offer us any water, either. I had to track her down for a desert menu. Odd thing was, there was barely anyone in the place around 9pm.

I HATE TO GIVE A BAD REVIEW BUT, I THINK IT'LL BE BEST TO EXPRESS MY OPINION SO THE RESTURANT CAN MAKE SOME IMPROVEMENTS. I WAS NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL! I ORDERED THE VACIO PLATE AND MY STEAK WAS VERY TOUGH AND DRY. THE CUBED POTATOES WERE VERY OVER SEASONED AND SOME WERE UNDER COOKED AND HARD. MY FIANCEE ORDERED THE BREADED STEAK;THE EDGES AROUND HIS STEAK WERE BURNT AND THE MEAT WAS ALSO TOUGH. HE ALSO ORDERED THE CALAMARIE AND IT WAS OVER FRIED. BASICALLY, THE MEAL WAS SOMETHING THAT I COULD HAD MADE AT HOME, WHICH I HAVE, BUT 10X BETTER AND TASTIER. IT WAS KINDA A WASTE OF MONEY, ESPECIALLY WHEN I READ GREAT REVIEWS ABOUT IT AND WAS VERY MUCH LOOKING FORWARD TO IT. THE REVIEWS DID NOT MATCH THE EXPERIANCE WE HAD LAST NIGHT.
THE ONLY THING THAT WAS DECENT WAS THE VERY POLITE AND ATTENTIVE HOSTESS AND WAS VERY APOLOGETIC FOR HAVING US WAIT OVER 30MINS FOR OUR TABLE.

Welcome to Caminito Argentinian Grill! Caminitio is the by far the Best Argentinian restaurant in all of Chicago! The menu is exquisite, and the ambience is very authentic and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and very fun. If you don't know Caminito is a colorful, picturesque street located in the neighborhood of La Boca, Buenos Aires, Argentina. A neighborhood built up by new immigrants, mostly from Italy (particularly from Genoa) and Spain, but also from Greece, Yugoslavia, and Turkey. They brought with them their culinary experiences, which we present to you to savor a bit of South American cuisine. A blend of Spanish and Italian cuisine with a distinct Porteño (name for natives of Buenos Aires) flare. Argentines not only have a penchant for pasta, but also a love affair with asado (traditional Sunday family barbecue of different cuts of beef).
