Highlights

Clipper's Cafe will be opening in the Summer of 2012. Run by the Cook and Jones families, Clipper's Cafe is an homage to Melvin and Nancy Cook, two members of the community in Chesterfield County. Melvin Cook was the owner of the Cook's Barber Shop in the 360 West Shopping Center off of Hull Street Road. The thriving business lasted until his demise in 2010. The name of the cafe comes from Melvin's nickname at the local Ruritan Club, "Clipper". His son and daughter wanted to continue his legacy and dedication to the community in Chesterfield County.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Food was excellent, Atmosphere casual and service fair but friendly. Mar 29, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by I ordered chicken and rice soup with a egg salad sandwitch and the soup was so thick I almost think they were trying to pass of what they had prepared for dinner for a soup at lunch. My sandwitch was ok but I wish they hadn't bothered putting the 6 crumbs of potatoe chips on my plate, it was ridiculous looking. If a resturant is out of chips then don't put the crumbs on the plate look for something else like some fruit or just leave it be! Mar 25, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great selection and good prices. Mar 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by This place is a diamond in the rough. I was not prepared for this delicious home-style cooking. The only food that was a little disappointing was the hard crust on the pecan pie. However, it was still an enjoyable piece of pie! Mar 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Staff was friendly, food was good but portions were a little small. Overall a great dining experience. Mar 2, 2014
