Rated 2 out of 5 by The food was great and priced for a mid scale restaurant. However the experience of the dinner was overshadowed by loud sports playing on a TV. Very intruding and took away from the atmosphere. Owners need to decide if they want a nice restaurant or a sports bar Jun 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by We love the food ! Jun 26, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by We were a party of 9, with reservations, tho we probably didn't need them as we were the only group having dinner. There was a party of 2 eating and a small group by the bar area watching the Blackhawks game. We had one waitress for all of us, and she did a fine courteous job. The food was enjoyed by all, tho the meals did not all come out of the kitchen at the same time. They kind of dribbled out, two or three at a time. Some of us were almost half done eating when the final two were served. I think that could have been coordinated much better; hardly the fault of the waitress. Jun 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really great food! May 26, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Mixed quality of food. Fried calamari horrible. Clam chowder & salad very good. Dinners good, not authentic Italian food. Veal & seafood entrees pricy for small neighborhood restaurant. May give this place a second chance. May 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by The food and service were both top notch May 21, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by We came early for lunch thinking that we would be there less than an hour. It took a long time to get an appetizer and even longer for our food. We ended up having to ask for all of our lunches to be bagged up and eat back at work.Waitress seemed to be mad that we couldn't wait around another 20 minutes to eat after sitting for 45 minuters to get our entrees. The steak (ribeye) I had was extremely fatty and the chunks of onion in my salad were very thick.Friends got pasta dishes and were not impressed at all. Not much flavor overall was everyone's opinion. We thought this would be a good new spot for lunch, not so much. May 19, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is cozy inside and situated in the quaint town of Itasca. May 4, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Fridaynite dinner.8 folks at a total of 4 tables. Should be jumping. Was not. Clam chowder was watery and fishy.sent back and exchanged for equally watery minestone. Risotto was just ok. Sausage that was in it was totally flavorless. Tasted like it was boiled and all spice was bodied out of it. If that sausage had flavor it would have made a world of difference. Fried califlower was on the carry out menu but not on the dine in. They graciously prepared it for us, but it sure seemed like it was prefrozen and again..nothing special that would bring me back. I wanted so to really like this, but disappointed. May 1, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5by Food was terrific. I had the Vitello Saltimbocca (can't remember my wife's entree), and we shared a Crostini appetizer and Tiramisu for dessert. Service of the entree was slow, but server was apologetic and explained that one kitchen staff was unexpectedly absent. Apr 20, 2015
